Who we are

The Big Run Fire Dept. was chartered in 1940. We re-branded as the Big Run Area Volunteer Fire Company to better reflect the area that we serve.

We are located at 202 Thompson St., Big Run, PA 15715.

We provide fire, rescue and EMS services to the municipalities of Big Run Borough, Gaskill Township, Henderson Township & Bell Township in Jefferson County and Banks Township in Indiana County.

We also provide mutual aid assistance to all the nearby communities and they do the same for us when needed.
